Graphic Rewilding is the collaborative public-art practice founded by Catherine Borowski and Lee Baker. Bringing together Borowski's background in large-scale curation and Baker's nature-based studio practice, the duo transforms architectural and urban spaces through bold botanical imagery, colour and scale. Their work begins with close observation and hand-drawn natural imagery, magnifying flowers, plants and tiny details from the natural world into exuberant, large-scale environments — an approach the artists call “microscopic maximalism.” Spanning murals, sculpture, projection, animation and site-responsive installations, their work invites people to pause, look closer and reconnect with the natural world in unexpected places. At Bloomyard, that artistic world becomes something you can step inside, move through and play in.
Bloomyard is made to be enjoyed together. Come with the kids, challenge a friend to a game, bring a date, or simply wander through and enjoy being somewhere a little out of the ordinary. We recommend booking your tickets online in advance. Tickets may also be purchased onsite, subject to availability.
