Step into Bloomyard — a yard grown wild with oversized flowers, playful games and swings set among the blooms. Created by Graphic Rewilding in collaboration with IMBA, Bloomyard transforms the gallery into a larger-than-life garden where art isn't just something to look at — it's something to play in. Wander through a spectacular floral arch and into the blooms. Swing among the flowers. Rally across flower-shaped table tennis tables or line up a shot on the garden mini-golf course. Take a break at The Bloomery café for a drink, then browse exclusive Bloomyard merchandise featuring Graphic Rewilding’s botanical prints at Stacked Store.

Graphic Rewilding is the collaborative public-art practice founded by Catherine Borowski and Lee Baker. Bringing together Borowski's background in large-scale curation and Baker's nature-based studio practice, the duo transforms architectural and urban spaces through bold botanical imagery, colour and scale. Their work begins with close observation and hand-drawn natural imagery, magnifying flowers, plants and tiny details from the natural world into exuberant, large-scale environments — an approach the artists call “microscopic maximalism.” Spanning murals, sculpture, projection, animation and site-responsive installations, their work invites people to pause, look closer and reconnect with the natural world in unexpected places. At Bloomyard, that artistic world becomes something you can step inside, move through and play in.

Bloomyard is made to be enjoyed together. Come with the kids, challenge a friend to a game, bring a date, or simply wander through and enjoy being somewhere a little out of the ordinary. For children, it's a world built for play. For grown-ups, permission to play again. Presented exclusively at IMBA, Gardens by the Bay, from 10 September to 25 October 2026.
