IMBA’s Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is between IMBA Global Pte. Ltd. (“IMBA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) and you as a user of our websites, platforms and services.
This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect your Personal Data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore) (“PDPA”).
“Personal Data” refers to personally identifiable information about you including your name, phone number, email address and contact details, and other personal information incidental to your interaction with the use of the services offered by IMBA.
Scope and acceptance
This Policy applies to Personal Data processed by IMBA through our websites, domains, ticketing experiences, membership sign-up pages, e-commerce (if any), mobile applications (if any), and other online/offline platforms we operate (collectively, “Platforms”). This Policy also applies where relevant to the use of CCTV/surveillance systems and photography/videography at IMBA premises and IMBA events.
By accessing or using our Platforms and services, you are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to this Policy (as updated from time to time). If you are under 18, please ensure a parent/guardian provides consent where required.

Personal Data Collected
We may collect Personal Data in the following ways:
A. Data you provide directly

When you buy tickets, register interest, create an account, sign up for membership, join mailing lists, participate in promotions, submit enquiries/feedback, or attend IMBA events.

B. Data collected automatically

Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type/version, device identifiers, operating system, pages viewed, clickstream/usage patterns, and referring/exiting pages (via cookies and similar technologies).
C. Data from third parties

Where permitted, we may receive Personal Data from third parties you interact with in relation to IMBA (e.g., authorized ticketing partners/OTAs, payment processors, marketing partners, event partners), and from service providers engaged by us to process Personal Data on our behalf.
Retention, Use and Storage of Data
We may collect, use and/or disclose your Personal Data for one or more of the following purposes:

Provide services: ticketing, entry, memberships, events, customer support and fulfilment of requests.

Operations: account administration, internal record-keeping, finance and audits, business operations.

Improve our offerings: analytics, troubleshooting, testing, research, service development, understanding visitor preferences, and improving user experience (including generating anonymized statistics).

Marketing (where permitted): newsletters, offers, early access updates, event invitations and personalised content where you have consented or where otherwise permitted under applicable law.

Safety and security: protecting our premises, visitors, staff, systems, and preventing fraud or misuse.

We store Personal Data in secure systems and take reasonable administrative, physical and technical measures to protect it from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks.
We will cease to retain your Personal Data when the purposes for which it was collected are no longer served by retention, and we are no longer required for legal or business purposes to retain it. We will then securely delete or anonymise it
Photography, videography and CCTV
IMBA (or parties authorised by IMBA) may carry out photography and/or videography at IMBA premises and IMBA events (including ticketed and non-ticketed areas). By entering IMBA premises or attending IMBA events, you consent to being photographed or recorded, and you consent to IMBA's use of such materials for promotional, publicity, documentation, and other legitimate purposes in any format or media. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please notify our staff upon entry.
CCTV and/or other security monitoring may be in operation for safety and security.
How we share Personal Data
We may disclose your Personal Data to

Service providers who process data for us (e.g., ticketing, payment processing, email delivery, hosting, analytics, customer support tools). These parties are authorised to use Personal Data only as needed to provide services to IMBA (and/or as required by law).

Partners where necessary to provide IMBA services you request or where you engage via partner channels (e.g., ticketing distribution partners/OTAs), subject to appropriate arrangements.

Authorities / legal where required to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, or respond to lawful requests.

Overseas transfers
Your Personal Data may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in jurisdictions outside Singapore (for example, where our service providers’ servers are located). Where we do so, we will take steps to ensure that your Personal Data continues to receive a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
Marketing communications
If you have consented to receive marketing communications, we may send you updates such as newsletters, early-access notices, promotions and event news.
You may opt out at any time by:

Your continued use of this Website and the services after any changes are made shall imply that you are aware of the changes in this Policy and shall constitute your deemed acceptance of such changes.
Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by and construed according to the laws of Singapore and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts. In the event any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, IMBA and you shall at first instance take reasonable efforts to settle and resolve such disputes in good faith and in an amicable manner by negotiation.
