Born in South Korea and raised in Washington D.C., Rostarr moved to New York City in 1989 to study graphic design and printmaking at the School of Visual Arts. For over 20 years, he has explored the intersection of art and design, creating abstract paintings, striking calligraphy, and large-scale murals that convey movement and rhythm.
