SPARK at Gardens by the Bay
A Dreamscape in the Sky
This SG60, be part of a poetic experience at Gardens by the Bay. SPARK, the celebrated light installation by Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde, comes to Singapore for the first time.
Presented at the Supertree Grove Lawn, SPARK at Gardens by the Bay features thousands of eco-friendly light sparks that silently float through the air, responding to the natural movement of the wind. Drawing inspiration from the gentle glow of fireflies, the shifting patterns of bird flocks, and the slow drift of stars across the night sky, the installation invites moments of awe, connection, and reflection.
Jointly organised by Gardens by the Bay and H&B, with art partner IMBA and in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Singapore, this edition of SPARK celebrates SG60 and 60 years of diplomatic ties between Singapore and the Netherlands—a meaningful convergence of national milestones through art and shared imagination. With the support of GIC and partner DutchCham, SPARK invites communities to come together in a spirit of reflection and celebration.
After captivating audiences in cities like Bilbao, London, and Melbourne, SPARK now invites Singapore to gather under the night sky—coming together in honour of National Day.
